I guess I'll get to it next week, since I'll be off. Got all my pots and tools together to build my annual 'garden starter' table. I love this time of year. The dirt, watching the seeds sprout, it's very therapeutic.

Repaired the electric fence...something big must've got tangled in it. It was stretched, the popped and two fence posts were pulled out. Wish I'd still had the game camera out

Planted peas two weeks ago on Saturday 3/8 and nothing has broken through the ground as of last night. Wondering if it all rotted as wet as it has been.

If the rain holds off for a little while in the morning I will try to get a couple of rows of corn planted! I'm trying out the peaches and cream this year instead of silver queen.

Well, it only took me 2 1/2 months, but I got it done. Reduced the size from the last couple of years because if it ain't canning type veggies we ain't gonna grow em. Plus I'm tired of fighting that stupid squash vine bore. Some veggies are just easier bought than grown. Cut it down to a 10x40 and will prolly plant maters, peppers, cucumbers and the such with plans for some sugar cane later on, just because...

There's a person in Dublin I've tried to get a hold of for a while now. Never hear back from him. Last year, they sold it at the Farmer's Market here in town, I'm hoping I can get a few stalks to start this year! We have a ridiculously stupid amount of plants in the ground. So much for going smaller this year. I think we actually increased the amount of things we need to water! We have: Rutgers and Brandywine tomatoes, bell peppers, sweet banana peppers, jalapenos, pablanos, Peaches and Cream corn, Flat Italian pole beans, pink eye purple hulls, Blue Lake pole beans, speckled butter peas, yellow squash, zucchini, cucumbers, 2 or 3 kinds of watermelon, okra, brussel sprouts, artichokes, onions, sweet potatoes, and a few strawberry plants. I think that's all of it. I'll post some pics later!

I don't have a clue, never messed with sugar cane. 10-4. I got instructions on how to plant/grow it from a fella during the Sugar Cane Syrup making day here on Jarrell Plantation, but haven't been able to buy the cane without paying $$$ for it.

Time is not on your side! Hawt weather is on its way and them tender little plants don't like the blazing hot sun very much!

I know, that's why I'm debating on just doing a few mater plants in containers, maybe some cucumbers and be done with it. I had all intentions of starting earlier this year, but the rain & "life" got in the way!
