Im seeing all tweet tweet after looking at those maps 60. Tell ya what...you dechiper em and I'll just go along with you! How's that sound? And yep. The fresh air is nice. Pollen has been so thick here that after a few hours outside you can actually feel the grit in your teeth it seems.

Don't feel the grit in my teeth, but it does feel like sand in my eyes after being outside for about 10 minutes.

18z GFS model runs are in. LI = -3 @ 18z(3pm) 04/17/14 for Atlanta and suburban areas MUCAPE = 500 / 500mb Bulk Shear = 45kts @ 18z 04/07/14 for Atlanta and suburban areas. 3km helicity = 250+ - 300+ @ 18z 04/07/14 for Atlanta and suburban areas The NAM holds on to the CAD much less so than the GFS adding much more instability to our region earlier in the event tomorrow. Even with that the GFS still places the CAD in extreme NEGA making them the most stable. And just for grins and giggles, here's another highly unusual homemade severe potential map by the Messican. Note, this is highly subjective and highly unscientific, but does reflect the values represented on the models above, and you will note, begins around 10pm est this evening and goes through 6pm tomorrow night, as this system moves across the three states. It doesn't mean that there WILL be a tornado, it just means that there is potential for conditions to be slightly more favorable in these areas than others. Nor does it mean that conditions for tornado's outside of the guestimated red area cannot develop. Take this map with a grain of salt and rely on your S.A.M.E. capable NOAA Weather Radio which I hope you all have and will keep close at hand.

I use Claratin. The pharmaceutical name for it is Loratadine and you can get a years worth of the stuff at Sam's club for $17, that and used to use Flonase this time of year, but Nasacort just went otc at full prescription strength and it's only around $11 for a 30 day dose, between those two I am able to walk through a cloud of pollen without even a sniffle. Otherwise I'd be laid up near on my death bed with horrible alergic reactions. Better living through chemicals.......

Claratin just didn't get it for me, but I wanted to try something else, went for Alegra....... nope, will be going back to Zertec, BUT, already had 'scripts for Flonase, knocking on wood....... I've not had a flare *yet*......

Gotta use any of them every single day for it to build up in your system and work. If you wait til you're having a reaction to start taking it, it's too late and won't work. Claratin is a preventative that has to be taken religiously to work. Nasacort, so far, has worked as good as my flonase prescrip did, and is a ton cheaper. Different stuff works for different folks though.

Nice little meso-cell in Nicks neck of the woods, capping out at 19k ft. VIL isn't very high and this one looks pretty harmless.

Well, other than the driveway getting washed away pretty good it was just a rain event for us. Hardly even a rumble of thunder really. Were headed out Wed morning for 5 days at the lake and the weather looks phenomenal! Anything interesting on the horizon 60?
