I have been seeing alot of deer on my commute and have noticed the color of their hide is alot darker than what I normally see. It is almost a dark chocolate color. Is this due to the colder temps we have been having because any other time they are alot lighter color?

Temps or what they are eating may be causing it .....I have ssen them from chocolate milk colors to the background on the forum ..
