Corn! You gotta be more specific or that middle Georgia redneck will be hanging a cob of corn on a treble hook big enough for catching Jaws and throwin it out there.

Nephew said red wrigglers worked well ?? Wigglers and night crawlers are the choice de jour for wild trout but them grain fed (pellets) trout will hit anything that looks like purina fish chow. Nibblet corn does a good job at that. Plus, don't go settin the hook like you're bass fishin, you'll rip the hook right out of their tender little mouths.

Tied a "pellet" fly once fer the catfish. Gotta say a 3-4lb channel cat on a flyrod is a sho nuff fight. Bet it'd work on any schedule fed fish though.

We used power bait for the farm raised trout...Just make a ball around the hook and let it fly...We also used corn and worms leave some slack in the line as it allows them to eat it so no hook set is needed, but we also ate ours, so don't know what your plan is after catching them is...Try some small spinners as well, mash the barbs if you want to catch and release...

Just going by what my nephew said, they use red wrigglers, fish about 3' deep and caught a cooler full of 2-3lbers ??? I just don't like fishing live bait when I can catch 'em on artificials.

Woolybuggers are good for channel cats with a flyrod. Specially with this version.

Easiest way to do it is be there when the feeder goes off. Throw a bare hook in the midst of the feeding frenzy and take your chances on whether you're gonna pull up a cat or a trout.
