That's a nice un. Give us the story behind it, and a bigger picture wouldn't hurt.

2 years ago we got a small lease (180 acres). I never set foot on the property before paying to join simply because I liked the people sharing the lease. Picked out a spot in some 10 year old planted pines that was between a THICK oak bottom and a 70 acre corn field. Luckily enough the spot I picked had a slight dip in it (2 foot drop or so) compared to the surrounding area. The deer would travel this slight change pretty good. After having seen roughly 35 deer out of this stand I hadnt seen a shoot buck so I changed my approach some. Instead of parking on the pond dam closest to my stand (400+ yards) and walking in beside the pines. This afternoon I decided to park at the lease gate and walk across the dam, out into the already cut corn and cut across the field to my stand. About an hour later I heard a slick pop and this deer poked its head out about 45 yards down a shooting lane, looking right at me. Watched this deer eat 5 minutes or longer till he relaxed enough to not keep looking at my stand every 2 seconds. He got within 15 yards and the .308 rang out. He dropped on impact, few seconds later he regained his feet and made it out of sight. Deer made it about another 20 yards with no heart and 1 lung. Never bled a drop. After watching this deer for several minutes I swore he was an 8. When I walked up on him he turned out to be a decent 10. Not my biggest but for sure took more work than any other buck Iv killed.
