As you can see, the SPC has us in a slightly elevated risk for TS development this afternoon. Should be some good light shows.

I bet Otis wishes he was still living in Texas. This tornado warning isn't far from where his crib was. Another view.

SPC is saying it's gonna soup up this afternoon. So keep your eyes and ears peeled toward the sky. Blood, get your chair ready for some roof settin and be ready to go at a moments notice.

Yep, it's that time of year when we could get a thunderstorm or light rain every afternoon. You just have to be in the right place at the right time. If you're hangin out at Camp Rainy Mountain up near Clayton Ga. then it's almost a guaranty you'll get rain every afternoon.

Hey Blood!!! got some shower action just above you. This little blip might blow up into a quick shower for you, but don't know if it'll be enough for any roof sittin. Keep an eye on it and let us know.

It's a little early in the morning for the storms to be firing up, but here they are just over the line. Y'all can have em today, we got pounded with rain and lightning out of a little cell that popped up yesterday afternoon. Gotta get the shop vac to some water in the basement this morning and even had rain coming out of the soffit vents on the back deck. I've been in a lot of storms but that was the absolute most water I've seen dumped on one location in such a short period of time. Our gutters (and my garden) didn't stand a chance.

YES,,,,,,,He listened to me, this time. The storm split around our area. (little yellow x with red circle)Listening to the thunder, glad I'm not in this one. Don't know if the one it Atl will miss though, if it stays together. Notice the directional lines. Looks like folks in the Vinings area are getting some hail out of that cell. (green triangle = .25 inch or less) Atl. Storm.

Everytime I decide to plant corn in the garden my wife reminds me of what disaster looms on the horizon. Everytime, without exception, that I have ever planted corn it gets about 7ft tall or so and we get a butt kicker of a storm that will lay it all flat on the ground. I'm just lucky that way I guess.

That 70% area gets a little closer every day and is starting to make me a tad uncomfortable knowing what it has left behind it.
